While They Sleep

As a working mom of four young children—all under the age of eight—life is anything but simple. Every day brings its own unique set of challenges. Whether it’s the morning hustle of getting the kids ready for school, restocking the fridge after an unexpected two-day power outage, potty training my three-year-old, or planning fun, budget-friendly weekend activities, my mind is constantly racing.

Some days feel like a whirlwind. It’s a daily struggle to stay grounded, present for my children, and still carve out space to pursue my passion for writing. But through it all, my faith is my anchor. I hold onto the promise that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

My relationship with God gives me strength. My children give me purpose. And my dreams fuel those quiet hours after bedtime when the house is finally still.

In those sacred moments,

I write.

I pray.

And I believe.
